Why no birds have used the bath!

So... I set up this lovely little display... A bird "Day Spa" of sorts... a plate of seed... a crystal cake stand as a lovely bird bath... and splash of red geranium for interest... and sat back and waited for the birds to visit hoping to get some great shots.... for 2 days I've waited... and not a single bird has taken me up on a nice spa day.... I think I may see the problem with my plan now...
( We'll call it an 'artsy blur' to the pic.. actually I was just laughing too hard to hold the camera steady...)
